New in Oticon

Getting off to a good start
At Oticon, we want our employees to get off to a good start. We know that the first few weeks in a flat and very open organisation can seem rather chaotic. But we think that it's important for new employees to gain a broad understanding of Oticon as an organisation and business as quickly as possible. So we have created a mentoring arrangement and an introduction programme.

Mentoring arrangement
About 2 weeks before you start work at Oticon, you will receive a letter from your mentor. The letter will tell you when you will start work on your first day.
When you start work with us, your mentor and your personnel manager will receive you and will take care of you during the first days of introduction. Your mentor will be a colleague whose function is similar to yours. He or she will show you around, introduce you to your colleagues and give you an impression of how we work at Oticon.

The introduction to your work is also handled by your mentor. However, the openness and helpfulness of your colleagues is one of Oticon’s great strengths and as so often happens, your colleagues will  help you with your questions well before you get  a chance to ask your mentor. But your mentor is available to you for as long as you need.

Introduction program
During the first few months, you will go through an introduction programme that provides insight into our organisation and our business. This programme consists of approximately 15 sessions lasting between 60 and 90 minutes.
